With a degree in ecology and a career as a state park ranger behind her, Sharon is a lifelong naturalist with a heart rooted deeply in the wild. Now retired, she continues to share her passion for the natural world through art, education, and hands-on experiences.

Sharon has an eye for the overlooked — She especially loves reptiles and spends much of her time educating both kids and adults about the incredible native species found in Arizona. Whether leading a hands-on demonstration or answering curious questions, she’s most at home when inspiring others to see beauty in creatures often misunderstood.

As an artist, Sharon creates intricate oddities using sustainably sourced specimens, thrifted vessels, and antique jewelry. Each piece is a fusion of science, storytelling, and soul — honoring nature in all its forms.

She also specializes in personalized permanent jewelry, custom-fitted tie rings and tooth gems, helping people carry small symbols of connection, memory, and meaning with them every day.

From the trails of Arizona to her art studio, Sharon lives to spark curiosity, appreciation, and respect for the living world.
